Basic Phone/Tablet Stand
thingiverse
Made as a skills development project, this design is based on Note 8 specifications. To make it easier for users to modify the design, I've included a FreeCAD file. If you have any ideas on how to improve this stand, please share them - maybe we can work together to create a better product. One possible improvement could be cutting out some of the back plate to accommodate phones with stands or credit card slip cases. Additionally, cutting a notch in the base would allow users to connect their phone to a charging cord while it's on the stand. The angle at which the back plate meets the table top can also be adjusted to suit individual perspectives. Currently, it's set up for use at a desk or nightstand, but this can be changed as needed. The support system, which is based on a Loft design, will automatically adjust with the new angle. I've designed the width of the stand to match the dimensions of a sketch, and I've added padding to make it comfortable to hold tablets. If you'd like to increase the padding for larger devices, that's definitely an option. To get the best results when printing this design, it's recommended to print it standing up. This will eliminate the need for supports, making the process easier and more efficient.
