This is a basic oar design that fits perfectly on an RNLI D-class lifeboat, and best of all, it's completely free! Since no one makes a standard oar that works well with the D-class, I've created this simple solution. It may be longer than usual, but you can easily trim down the excess if needed. If you're looking for a custom fit, this is your best bet. Print at 20% infill and don't worry too much about settings - 100% scale works beautifully with my existing D-class parts. The design should also scale down well for smaller projects. To give it a more authentic oar shape, try sanding the sides at an angle. It's a simple trick that makes all the difference!
