Basic Music Keys
thingiverse
A simple octave of piano keys with a pivot area and extended post could be an interesting DIY project, allowing users to operate switches or similar mechanisms.\r\n\r\n--- Edit ---\r\nThe 4 different key types have been separated into individual objects and oriented in a way that is more suitable for printing, featuring a flat surface at the bottom. However, some parts still have significant overhangs, which may make them challenging to print.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, a new style of hinging has been considered, utilizing mounting ears and incorporating a catch into the major keys. The sharp/flat keys already feature a catch that hooks onto the major keys. Any feedback on this idea would be appreciated, as spring loading the keys might necessitate it.
