Basic Laptop Stands/Legs
thingiverse
I use these basic riser legs to elevate my laptop in the corner of my office, where it serves as a server. It doesn't run hot often, so I'm focused on keeping it elevated rather than cooling it down entirely. However, this helps prevent heat from building up too quickly, which is helpful regardless. To assemble this riser, you'll need to print two left and two right legs, then attach them to the underside of your laptop at each corner. For a good balance between strength and material usage, I've found that printing with a medium quality setting and about 8% infill is sufficient for my needs. Keep in mind that this project is still under development. Currently, I have difficulty printing these legs flawlessly due to bridging issues with my Wanhao Duplicator 4. The best results so far have been achieved by printing the legs on their sides, rather than on a flat surface.
