Basic Laptop Stands/Legs

Basic Laptop Stands/Legs

pinshape

These are basic riser legs designed to elevate a laptop functioning as a server in the corner of my office. The goal is not so much to keep it cool, since it doesn't tend to get too hot, but rather to lift it off the flat surface, which helps to prevent overheating altogether. In the future, I plan to modify one of these legs to accommodate a fan. To assemble this project, you will need to print two left riser legs and two right riser legs, then attach them to the underside corners of your laptop. With my printer, I've found that printing at medium quality with an 8% infill setting is more than sufficient for my needs. This design is still a work in progress, as I have struggled to achieve flawless results when bridging due to issues with my Wanhao Duplicator 4 printer. However, by laying the print on its side, I've managed to produce more reasonable outcomes that meet my expectations.
