Made a custom sheath for a unique knife in record time. Decided to share the files to demonstrate my approach. 1. Traced the blade's profile onto paper, scanned it accurately. 2. Loaded the image into SketchUp, resized it precisely to match the actual dimensions of the blade. 3. Carefully drew the image on screen. 4. Created a container and lid around the knife, primarily using offset and extrude tools effectively. 5. Printed out the two components and bonded them together securely with strong superglue.
