Basic Hinge
thingiverse
The hinge module used in things 5750, 5822 and 5859 is being separately published via an OpenScad script. This script generates hinges for joining printed parts with default values compatible with mentioned items. An additional option lets users pin down the clips with extra plastic for better raft-less printability. The horizontal hinge module's details can be found in the script itself. Note: "n" defines clip number (doubled), "space" is clip width and spacing, "clear" adds extra space for clearance, "r" is clip radius (half height), and "l" is length of the square bit connecting hinge to objects. A pin can be added at the bottom if set to true, which aids in holding hinges together while printing. Please see the script for further information on this horizontal hinge module.
