Basic GoPro Strap Mounts

Basic GoPro Strap Mounts

thingiverse

I've designed a simple GoPro strap mount that works perfectly for both clip-in and screw mounting options. The screw version requires an M5 nut, while I've carefully printed numerous versions to ensure accurate dimensions. Both clip-in and screw mounted versions securely hold my GoPros in place. As a recent update shows, there was an issue with Cura's slicing of the screw mount, which resulted in an uneven finish at the back; therefore, I've uploaded a revised version. Print Settings Used: * Printer: Prusa i3 * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 2mm * Infill: 60% Additional Tips for Best Results: I prefer printing with PETG material because of its durability and flexibility, which allows it to slightly flex before breaking. However, I recommend using supports for a sturdy build and adjusting print settings so the support fills in the nut holder. Failing to do so may cause the design to sag and necessitate a more difficult removal process, including drilling out small pieces.
