Basic Drone based on the Kraken Pro Drone frame
thingiverse
I've yet to construct this as I'm still waiting on parts. My plan is to print two bases and attach arms with 3mm bolts, using four stand offs followed by a small top piece for the battery. This design draws inspiration from the Kraken PRO. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated at this early stage in the process - it was essentially thrown together within a few hours. Depending on how you configure the arms, it can be an X shape, a squished X, or a stretched X format. Right now, I'm using generic 2204 2300kv motors with 5 inch tri blades and 30mm PCB and controller boards. UPDATE: I've made some changes - motor holes didn't quite line up as expected. To address this, I thickened the top plate, added some strap slots, and included slots for a rear-facing aerial.
