Basic Customizable Gear - true diameter

Basic Customizable Gear - true diameter

thingiverse

The original SCAD file misinterprets the diameters as radii and refuses to accept fractional diameters, making odd diameters utterly impossible. With this minor adjustment they are now finally possible! The v2 version corrects a critical cog length issue. Note there was an earlier Customizer problem on Thingiverse; if you still encounter difficulties it can be circumvented by installing OpenSCAD and running Customizer locally using the following instructions: - Download the latest version of OpenSCAD, which includes Customizer - Under Edit, Preferences, enable Customizer - Under View, uncheck 'Hide Customizer' - Open the SCAD file downloaded from Thingiverse - On the right side of the app, input the custom values you want. The 3D image will update automatically - When ready to generate the STL file, first render the image (e.g. F6), then export as STL.
