Basic Cribbage Board
thingiverse
This is a standard 2-person cribbage board that prints into three distinct pieces - the board itself, the sliding door that keeps the pegs secure, and the pegs (five of them, with an extra because I tend to misplace one). A hole in the center of the board holds the pegs, while the door fits snugly into a slot to keep everything organized. You've got two design options for the board - a simple look or a circle pattern. It's incredibly functional and compact. The pegs and sliding door aren't a perfect fit right out of the printer, at least not on my machine, but they stay in place nicely and allow for some flexibility with printing settings. One minor issue is that one end can lift up slightly due to the board's length, but this doesn't affect gameplay and might be fixed with some adjustments. The entire board took around 7 hours and 45 minutes to print, while the access pieces (door and pegs) each printed in under 9 minutes. This cribbage board makes a fantastic gift for grandparents, parents, or friends who love card games! Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Resolution: 2mm Infill Percentage: 10% Notes: I used the standard print settings and it worked great. To keep things organized and prevent tangles, I added rafts to the pegs - they don't separate otherwise. I also added rafts to the door and board for easier removal and a smoother finish on the underside, which helps the door slide in more smoothly.
