Can we rack up 500 downloads on this baby for my new gradient technic innovation? GRATZ! Corsair S.A., operating under the trade name Corsair International, calls Rungis, France home base. They're the second largest French airline after Air France, serving 15 international destinations in French overseas territories, Africa and North America via their scheduled and charter services. The airline was established back in 1981, kicking off operations on May 17th of that same year as Corse Air International under the founding wing of the Corsican Rossi family. However, it got scooped up by Nouvelles Frontières, a French tour operator, in 1990 and its name changed to Corsair soon after. After landing worldwide traffic rights in '91, TUI AG took control in 2000 - one of the biggest names in the tour business at the time. By 2004, their aircraft were sporting a fresh coat of paint donning TUI's iconic colors: blue fuselage paired with the distinctive TUI-logo alongside other sister airlines. It was only natural when they rebranded to TUIfly by year-end 2005, but before the name change kicked in, Corsair planes sported a one-time wear Corsairfly livery. However, by then the clock ticked on and all affiliate airlines under the group were due for adoption of this common brand; in fact some still bear it proudly today, so it makes no difference now since the airline got their share right too, with 587 seats setting them down in a historical place as leaders of seats on passenger aircraft, specifically on those mighty Boeing 747-400s they had at that time.
