This is an essential cooling spike for scaling up prints with intricate details. Use it whenever small components at the top of your print demand additional time to cool down completely. I implement this technique whenever I'm working on intricate designs that require a bit more cooling time, especially when every millimeter counts and saving filament is crucial. This trick comes in handy when you want to avoid reprinting parts solely to allow for extra cooling time instead of wasting precious filament.
