Basic Container Project: Corners
thingiverse
It's the same principle as the Basic Trailer Project: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2516396. You can combine standard parts to build containers exactly how you want them. There are four different corner types, each designed for a specific type of container - flat, tank, closed or custom. The scale is 1/14, just like the trailer, and it should fit Tamiya models, though I haven't tested it yet. When building any container, you'll always need the same number of Corner and Corner_mirror parts because the oval hole in each corner needs to be positioned correctly on top and bottom. For a standard container, you'll need four Corner_3 and four Corner_3_mirror parts. With Container_Corner_0, you can attach container corners directly to wood or other materials without using aluminum profiles. Check out this YouTube video for more information: https://youtu.be/k-VIijktbn4. Here are the parts you'll need for the container frame: * Aluminum profile 10x10x1mm * Small screws The required length of aluminum profiles varies depending on the type of container. For standard 20' and 40' containers, you'll need: * Height: 161mm * Width: 152mm * Length for 20': 403mm * Length for 40': 841mm
