Basic Card Box (5 Lid Designs + Blank)

I'm creating models with movable parts and sliding sections, so when I discovered this contest, I thought it was a great chance to improve my skills. To make things even more convenient for myself, my wife requested a card box, which will earn me brownie points that I'm pretty sure can be exchanged for actual brownies. Originally, I wanted to create 20 different lid designs but since I only found out about the contest last week and it took me a few days to decide what to make, I'm starting to think I won't have time to complete all 20. Instead, I decided to upload my current work and keep adding to the post until the end of the contest. I hope to add a few more constellations before the deadline and possibly some additional astrology signs. My current lid designs are: Blank Lid for adding your own design Orion Constellation Maiden, Matron, Crone symbol (2 crescent moons, full moon between) Saturn Earth Cat-Hat-Broom - Whiskers didn't print well on mine, which may have been due to making them too small. I'm also going to try to include all the designs separated from the Lid so that you can easily use them in another project if you like. Unfortunately, I'll be out of the house today and won't be able to start printing the actual box until Sunday, the 15th. I might just have to post a picture of the box printing instead of a finished product, as I'm not sure how the rules work for post-contest-entry-date edits. Printing Settings: This should be an easy print - any overhangs are either small or follow the 45º angle rule, so there's no need for supports. I printed the lid with PLA directly on the glass but did add a Brim in my slicer. Planned future edits include: Hinged version Making the finger-holes on the side go slightly deeper than the bottom of the box, so you can get your finger under the cards better.
