Basic Carabiner for messenger bags

My trusty bag's strap carabiner had finally given up the ghost due to excessive wear and tear caused by the relentless friction between two constantly moving parts. I decided it was time to put my 3D printing skills to the test for a heavy-duty project. The model was carefully designed to accommodate a 5mm diameter fitting part, which I promptly inserted into the hole while making sure the extruder was positioned high enough to avoid any potential collisions that might ruin the print. So far, so good - my custom-made carabiner has been performing flawlessly on both sides of my trusty messenger bag. In fact, I use it daily to carry a substantial load of about 5-6 KG. The PETG filament from MG Chemicals proved to be an excellent choice for this project. Perhaps you'll find this inspiring and decide to create your own remix!
