I'm Adding a Switch to My Anet A8 3D Printer Adding a switch is a great way to upgrade your Anet A8 3D printer. The goal was to add the switch at the top of the power supply and run wires alongside the power supply. Here's how I did it. First, I opened up my 123d Design software and started creating a new project. I began by drawing a simple box that would hold the switch in place. The box was designed to be attached to the top of the power supply using screws. Next, I added some holes for the wires to pass through. This allowed me to run them alongside the power supply without any obstructions. With the design complete, I exported it as an STL file and sent it to my 3D printer.
