Basic 3.5" Raspberry Pi LCD Bezel & Back Plate
thingiverse
I created a Basic 3.5" Raspberry Pi LCD Bezel to serve as standalone protection for the LCD during testing on the bench. Primarily, this is to avoid having to plug it directly into the Pi and instead use a cable. This bezel does not fit onto a Raspberry Pi with its back cover on; however, it does fit somewhat without it. I utilized sticky felt pads on the back of the LCD to ensure a snug fit, as the chips on the LCD are elevated. I obtained these felt pads from Walmart near the hardware section. The screws required for this bezel are M3 x 5mm or less in length, or you can use whatever screws you have available that will thread into it. In the future, I may design a new back plate to enable mounting onto VESA-style mounts and similar configurations.
