Bases for Warhammer40k made with Openscad
myminifactory
This is a collection of bases for Warhammer40K and similar games. Included are all the common round and oval bases pregenerated as .STL files. I created them using Openscad and have included the code file 'bases.scad'. Running this in Openscad would allow you to customize them further, adjusting slope, height, support ring positioning and size. The bases have support rings underneath which fit 5mm magnets nicely if you are looking to magnetize. The supports on the oval bases get distorted from stretching so wont fit round magnets perfectly. I print these on an FDM (Ender 3) upside-down and they require no support. Just make sure the bed is well-leveled especially for the larger ones or if spreading many across the plate. I reccomend to configure printing sequentially in Cura settings '(Special Modes>Print Sequence = One at a Time) as it is faster and wont cause all to fail if there is an adhesion issue. I am in no way affiliated with but found the following link quite useful for base-sizing information: en-blastedhorizons.blogspot.com/2015/07/guide-to-40k-bases.html
