Bases for Elemental Stones (The 5th Element)

These are custom-designed bases for the remarkably detailed Elemental Stones by Imirnman, creator of the iconic movie prop from The 5th Element: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1012118. I didn't want to display the finished Elemental Stones on a plain shelf and since I didn't have access to a ritual temple with stone pillars, I came up with the next best solution :). After printing the bases and multiple rounds of filler primer and sanding, I applied a mahogany base coat using Vallejo Model Air paint. Subsequently, I dry-brushed them with a mix of the mahogany paint and some Vallejo Red Leather paint to achieve the appearance of worn wood.
