Baseplate for the dualgear extruder for the Creality CR10 (S)
thingiverse
Human: There is no suitable baseplate for the dual-gear extruder on the Creality CR10 (S). I created one including a filament sensor that fits perfectly with the original lid. Two wheels have been added to ensure the filament enters the extruder directly and doesn't rub against anything, and the filament sensor output is positioned opposite the extruder input. This design accommodates both wire feed from above and straight feed. The bearings used for the wheels are identical to those in a V-wheel of the Creality CR10 (S). Update: I've added a support plate to enhance stability by attaching it to a v-wheel bolt, resulting in slightly different images than the STL file. The holes for securing the V-Wheels have been enlarged to accommodate an M3 bolt, and the upper wheel features a recess at the rear where an M3 bolt nut can be used.
