I just needed a basic baseplate so I didn't bother making one out of Plexiglas or wood. Instead, I decided to print this simple design in PLA with 50% infill. To make it smooth, I sanded the printed part with a 240-grid sandpaper. Since Makita's screw hole placement is irregular and doesn't follow a rectangular pattern, I added a separate file for accurate placement.
