3D printed base-plate with two cooling fans. Independently switched 12v fans with base-plate piggy backing the voltage to the HDD. Can be mounted underneath to blow air up through the HDD or on top to blow air down. HDD power supply plugs into base-plate and the lead from base-plate with appropriate DC jack plugs into the HDD. 2 switches on side of base-plate independently control two 12V fans. I have noticed that with both fans going, there is a 15 degree C. drop in temperature reported by the HDD firmware internal temperature sensor. Fans held in place with M3 fasteners, screwing into brass inserts. HDD sits into designed recess.
