Dear All, I crafted a mask using kneading dough, approximately 5 cm x 5 cm in length. Inspired by my experience at the Basel Carnival several years ago, I wanted to recreate this unique design. To capture its three-dimensional shape, I employed my Xperia XZ1 Compact to perform a 3D scan. Next, I needed to edit and refine the scan data to export it as an OBJ file. In order to import it into FreeCAD, I created a new object, cleaned it up, and then re-exported it as a mesh. Here is the result - it has worked so far, but you'll need to add the finishing touches by adding the hairs! Regards, Frog.
