Like a handful of others I've encountered online, I was having trouble getting Afrokid's baseball bat to print flawlessly. The lower layers would print perfectly, with no adhesion issues or problems whatsoever. Then, roughly 20% into printing the bat, it would suddenly get stuck and start spewing out a glob of plastic everywhere. I tweaked settings, slowed down the speed, but nothing seemed to make a difference. So, I fired up 123D and created my own version of the bat from scratch. I half expected to encounter the same issues considering how similar the designs were. But lo and behold, mine printed with ease on the very first try. No clue why it worked out that way. But when it comes to 3D printing, I've learned to appreciate positive results and not ask too many questions, haha. Hopefully this version will be a valuable resource for anyone else who runs into the same problem.
