Baseball bat mount
thingiverse
I've been itching to come up with a solution to display my Harley Quinn bat proudly since I painted it four years ago. Just last month, I got a 3D printer - now I can finally showcase it on the wall! The design allows me to securely attach the bat in any direction I want using tension (since the hooks face opposite directions), so I can mount it horizontally or diagonally with ease. Although, I haven't tried mounting it vertically yet. The design ensures that removing my bat is a simple twist and pull action, and it's free from the wall mount. As a beginner in 3D printing and designing, I used TinkerCAD to create the mounts, and printed them in transparent PLA. However, because I chose 75% infill, they're not as transparent as I had hoped. To make sure my bat is securely attached, I added nail holes to the design based on what I have available - 1.4 x 25mm nails. Each hook is attached at three points for extra security. The hooks are marked "T" and "B" for Top and Bottom, which was a good thing I did after mixing up my first batch - the bottom hook is slightly larger to accommodate the space needed for the end of the bat to lean against the wall.
