I'm glad to offer support for a 120mm fan with a separate housing for step-up. Since my PS4 is placed on a shelf near the ceiling, it's essential to circulate air and utilize the heat generated by the console in the entire room. To accomplish this without using a 12V power supply just for the fan, I've opted for a USB port from the PS4 (5V) and set the step-up to 7V output, which is sufficient for my Ventirad Lepad fan. The step-up converter was sourced from Wish. Any 120mm fan would work in this setup.
