I used to rely heavily on base ten blocks in school and they really helped me grasp math concepts. Not only were they effective at teaching, but they were also a lot of fun. Teachers can use them to demonstrate addition, fractions, place values, and even multiplication. How I Created This Project I designed these custom base ten blocks using TinkerCAD. Objectives: * Students will learn addition, subtraction, multiplication, and decimal places. Audience: K-5 grade level is ideal for this project. Preparation: Simply print out the blocks and you're ready to go! Steps: Teachers can use these blocks to visually demonstrate how addition and subtraction work. They can also show students how to multiply by using multiple bricks of the same size. These blocks make learning math more enjoyable and accessible. Results: Students will have a better understanding of addition, subtraction, and multiplication concepts.
