These are simple creations to fill a niche problem. There are many war games out there that are expensive to play, so people turn to paper craft to enjoy their favorite game without breaking the bank. Three-dimensional printable objects were designed to ensure accurate perimeters for any given size while being extremely frugal with material costs. The result is a border with no core, but that's where the magic happens. Fill it with what you need or have on hand - Play-Doh, clay, hot glue, or anything else really, but my personal favorite is cheap foam core. Cut a line in the foam, place your paper mini inside, and you're done [maybe add some glue]. I've created four different sizes so far, simply because I design as needed: 25mm base 32mm base 40mm base 170x105mm base Each base has a slight angle to keep the material from spilling over into the shell. Personally, I like to think of this as printing upside down, leaving the thicker end facing up - mainly so rough-cut foam doesn't show. FYI: Foam core is essentially poster board, so if you use it, I recommend visiting your local dollar store and grabbing some cheap stuff. The inexpensive option truly yields a lot of base cores, and you can get an astonishing number from just one sheet.
