I've been searching for a sturdy mount for my paint roller to serve as a reliable spool holder. I successfully integrated an extra rough roller onto the existing design and the spools fit snugly in place, allowing for smooth filament unwinding. My initial inspiration came from Halley's ingenious threads on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:84774), which perfectly aligned with my desired outcome. This custom plate is specifically designed to accommodate #6 drywall screws and features a countersunk design to facilitate seamless mounting in the ideal location for your unique setup. It's worth noting that at 20% infill, my initial prototype broke when mounted on the wall. However, I've since revised the design with 45% infill and securely attached it to the table beneath my printer. Please use this design at your own discretion, as you have been warned - considering adding a bolt through the plate for added reinforcement may be necessary.
