Base Mount for the Ecowitt WH41 Air Quality Detector
thingiverse
This is a simple base mount to secure the Ecowitt WH41 (outdoor) Air Quality Sensor in place. I utilized jbobrow's 3/4" Gas Pipe Couplings file, which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2992782. By using this 3/4 coupling, a 3/4” pipe can easily connect to the Ecowitt WH41 Air Quality Sensor base for effortless mounting. With my setup, I connected the Ecowitt Air Quality Sensor base mount to an Orbit 3/4" by 6" cut off riser, then to a 1” / 3/4” saddle PVC tee. I have a 1" pipe installed in our yard that holds other Ecowitt personal weather station (PWS) sensors. You will need to drill screw holes at the top of the mounting base before attaching the Ecowitt WH41 Air Quality Sensor. In my picture, I used two screws that came with the sensor in the drilled holes where the mount is thicker at the back, hiding the length of the screws. For the other two drilled holes where the base is thinner at the front, you will require a shorter screw. In my picture, I used 2mm x 0.4 x 8 with washers that fit perfectly. Before mounting the complete setup outdoors, I will apply some silicone to the exposed screw tops.
