Base Frame for Gravity Spoolholder with raised Edges
prusaprinters

The base frame is based on Fabaya's model.

The kit for the MMU2 includes foam pads that attach to the bottom of the spool holder base. This makes the frame too low because the entire spool holder base is raised.

So I increased the height of the base frame from 4 to 8 mm. This meant that the holes for the screws had to be moved slightly inwards. The corners were additionally raised and slightly beveled, which improves the grip, when the spoolholder is mounted in top of the Prusa Enclosure V2 - MMU2S and the top cover is opened.

Printing the model is quite simple. No supports are needed. I used an infill of 20%. Less is also enough.
