Many old radios depend on outdated - and costly - WD-11 tube models. This base employs three 3/16" brass tube pieces and a piece of 1/8" brass tube for precise pins. A CK5676 tube is carefully soldered into the pins with a precisely tuned 22 ohm resistor across the filament to achieve the right current draw. You can replicate the original WD-11 look by placing an inverted cut-off piece of 1" diameter test tube over the 5676 tube. You should use Cura and slice at a .2mm layer height for this project. To avoid issues with excessive heat generation from vacuum tubes, you need to choose ABS due to its lower melting point compared to PLA.
