This is model of base for Tertial IKEA lamp. In every day using lamp heel it experiences loads in different directions. On one axis, the length of the heel is only 43 mm. I broke in this place. The thickness is only 1.5 mm. I increased the length to 60 mm and the thickness to 6.5 mm. But left a 1 mm cavity for the soft material.
