My Kent Double Paddle had a tendency to slide around on the desk due to the existing rubber feet, which also gave under pressure. I decided to design a flat plate that attaches directly to the key using M3 screws from the original rubber feet. Printing the plate in TPU might provide enough grip, but I also created a thin Mat that can be stuck down with double-sided tape, offering a rough surface for the plate to rest on. Alternatively, attaching a sheet of thin rubber to the plate could work, allowing it to be printed in PLA. The cutouts were designed specifically for my setup, where I have an additional 3.5mm socket to connect a computer keyer or a straight key - my Elecraft K2 can detect this with the help of some diodes hidden within black heatshrink.
