Base for Enermax EAS02S Bluetooth Speaker
thingiverse
This base allows you to position the Enermax EAS02S Bluetooth speaker in a near-horizontal position. This can be an advantage depending upon the location of the speaker relative to the listener. While the bass frequencies are omni directional, and little affected by the orientation of the unit, the higher the frequency the more directional they become. The level falls off noticeably as the angle between the axis of the speaker and the listener's ear increases. The print consists of three pieces, a base, an inclined foot (2 used), and a clip for attaching an elastic band to hold the speaker onto the base. I used super glue to assemble the stand. EDIT 1/26/21 One thing you may notice immediately is that it needs some non-slip material on the feet and on the mounting surfaces for the speaker. The fit is loose enough that a thin tape will work. I used blue masking tape on the feet and bed, and it is a big improvement. As you can see in the photo, the base is a pretty terrible print. I only used only one perimeter for the base, and the infill moved the printed thread where they were adjacent. However, it is surprisingly rigid.
