Base for Bosch Colt Trim Router
thingiverse
I created this base to fit onto a Bosch Colt Trim Router. I needed a base that would move further away from the router bit for a project I'm working on. This base is meant to be moved manually. I included four STL files that document the development process. routerring.stl is just a quick single-wall, 10% infill test print to make sure I measured and printed the correct diameter for the router body's circumference. routerclamp.stl is just the clamp geometry around the router. This was printed to test my implementation with 6-32" x 1-1/2" long screws, 6-32 washers, and 6-32 nuts. This can be used to adapt this geometry for other purposes. routerclamp-holetest.stl is a piece of the router clamp file to experiment with printing the horizontal holes without structural support, and to test the best print speed. routerbase.stl is the final design.
