To achieve optimal results, it's essential to print this clamp upside down so that you end up with a smooth top surface and a tapering design underneath that matches the iMac base's shape. The angled side walls of the clamp ensure that the base stays firmly in place by preventing it from sliding backward, while a hook on the front prevents forward movement as well. Due to the screws' proximity to the base, they take on most of the holding power, minimizing reliance on the plastic's strength.
