####Model Blocks for the Base 12 Number System #####Example: 6539_{Base 10}=394B_{Base 12} These base-12 (or duodecimal) blocks are designed upon a request. We do not often use a duodecimal number system, although it works as well as other bases. Naturally, in the base-12 system, we use 12 digits {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B}, where A =10, B = 11. Indeed, it is important for students and their teachers to be aware of non-base-ten number representations. A number, say 6539, could be represented using any base: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, ... , although we typically use only base 10, 2, 8, 16, or, occasionally, 5, for pedagogical purposes.
