The names of many Ryazan people-the founders of entire scientific fields, mark an era in Russian and world science: the founder of theoretical cosmonautics K. E. Tsiolkovsky, General designer, academician, one of the creators of the nuclear shield of our country V. F. Utkin. The pride and glory of the Russian land were cosmonauts V. V. Aksenov and G. M. Strekalov. A wide audience is aware of the life and work of such thinkers as K. E. Tsiolkovsky, who lived and worked for a long time in Kaluga, and N. F. Fedorov, who worked for some time in the city of Borovsk of Kaluga region. At the same time, both of these philosopher-thinkers were born on the Ryazan land: Tsiolkovsky – in the village of Izhevsk, Spassky district, and Fedorov – near the village of Klyuchi, sasovsky district.
