I made a miniature sculpture in Blender for kids, just a simple task that requires some support under the mouth and ears before it's finished. The reason my models are mostly angled to face away from the machine is because MakerWare starts its stitch marks on the front left side of the print, so I want the unsightly line to run along the back of the head where it won't be noticeable.
