This is a custom-designed version of the logo for Barstool Sports, a popular sports blog that takes a satirical approach to sports commentary, perfectly suited for a 5 cm x 5 cm x 0.5 cm rectangular prism. The design consists of five distinct layers: one for the barstool itself, one for a lightning bolt and initials, one for the circle of stars, one for a spiked circle in the background, and finally, one for the protective circle that prevents the edges of the stars from tearing or coming loose. Each layer features smooth edges thanks to filleting, which rounds off sharp corners. The edge of the lowest circle is chamfered for added visual appeal. Post-printing notes: Please be aware that some details may be too fine for the printer to accurately reproduce. Due to the limitations of the extruder radius, it's possible that the stars or initials won't print correctly. They might appear cut off, miss intricate filleted details, or not match the simulated model as closely as desired. The picture used on the cover is not a representation of this specific design, as the original has gone missing. This custom version features different initials and an unmerged base, which could lead to separation from the rest of the design if printed without adjustments. For optimal results, I recommend printing at least 150% scale to ensure better detail retention on the print. Additionally, have some glue ready in case the base doesn't stick properly with the rest of the design. This project was a collaborative effort between myself and Darren LePage, who provided valuable coordination and support throughout the creative process.
