Bars ring - Anillo de barras
thingiverse
This is my first customizable object. I have allowed a very wide range of values, because maybe someone wants it (for example, designing a cuff), but if you are designing a ring I do not recommend to use a height over 4 mm and a length (band width) over 18 mm. The length of the ring follows this formula: width of bands × 2 × number of bars + end bar radius × 4. For instance, 0.75 mm/bar × 2 × 8 bars + 1.25 mm end bars × 4 = 12 mm + 5 mm = 17 mm of band width. These kinds of rings can be made in a lathe, so I have included an option to create a section, which can be used as reference. I recommend starting by designing a section, so you can see if the bars leave grooves or voids. Customizer fixed. Deleted text / Text deleted Important: It doesn't work. In my computer I get models, but here it doesn't work at all. I don't know the reason. Maybe I could remove it if I don't get it to work. "We're sorry, but something went wrong." I don't know what "something" is, so I don't know what I have to fix. If you are really interested, you can generate it with this Openscad version: openscad-2015.03-2
