This custom motor cage lets you power 130 motors within a secure stockade/barricade without any external shell cutting. UPDATED V1.2 - The motor gap size now comes in multiple options, including the standard 43mm, as well as 42.5mm and 42mm. - The side of the cage that touches the body is flush against the shell. - I've added small dart guides near the wheels, accommodating wheels up to 36mm in diameter. - The wire guides have been slimmed down for easier printing. - The cage's orientation has been corrected so it prints correctly when opened in a slicer. I designed this motor cage with the motor shaft and screw ports filled in to allow for printability without supports. This results in a superior finish inside the motor wells, but you'll need to drill out the holes after printing - the motor shaft is 6mm and the screws are 2mm. To make this design work, your printer needs to be capable of good bridging. --- Version 1.0 Cage Information --- The cage measures 43mm in size. When printing, rotate it so that the writing faces up on the print bed (Fusion 360 incorrectly defaulted to a different orientation).
