Barrel Wrench Driver
thingiverse
I acquired 15-gallon barrels for kerosene heating my home. To remove caps, I needed a wrench, but didn't want to buy one online since none appealed to me. Instead, I combined two tools: Wolf's wrench for the bottom part and another creator's handle that I redesigned in Tinkercad, merging files to create this simple barrel driver. I'm having trouble finding the original handle I used on Thingiverse; my download only includes an STL file without any information for giving credit. If someone can locate it within 30 minutes, I'll add a remix credit. The file name is Part_Studio_1_-_Handle.stl. Printing with four perimeters and 25% infill should work well. I also print two perimeters at 20% infill with a 0.4mm layer height using a 1mm nozzle, resulting in very nice prints. This tool had an open center, so mine does as well; however, none of my caps require this feature. If yours doesn't need it either, tell your slicer to "seal" the whole model to get rid of that hole, which will result in a stronger and faster print if you don't need the middle hole.
