Human Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Professional to join their team as an Information Security Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and have a strong background in information security policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and maintain effective information security policies and procedures that meet current standards and regulations. * Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies. * Collaborate with the IT team to ensure all systems and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards. * Provide regular training and awareness programs for employees on information security best practices. * Develop and maintain a comprehensive incident response plan in case of a security breach. * Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, preferably in information security roles. * Strong knowledge of security protocols, threat management, and risk assessment methodologies. * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: * CISSP or CISM certification * Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001 * Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions * Strong knowledge of programming languages and scripting technologies The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective information security policies and procedures that meet current standards and regulations.
