I printed out the new design first, placing some radioactive waste inside. The barrel was created from Philament.eu's red PLA material, with a few supports added to the nuclear symbol to ensure correct printing. I mixed together TreeD "Glow in the dark" PLA (90%) and Philament green PLA (10%) for the waste, using my Geeetech A10M at 205 °C, 30 mm/s, and 0.08 layer thickness. After printing was complete, I colored the barrel with a black alcoholic pen and used acrylic varnish spray to fix the colors in place. Perhaps it would be wise to heat up the waste before placing it inside the barrel, then secure it with a few drops of CA glue.
