The night was filled with a lot of grunting and shouting. Old wheels squeaked in the sloshing mud up until dawn. Finally, after lots of effort the royal carriage emerged on the top of the hill. Huge corpulent silhouette was eyeing the swampy plains stretching before him through dozens of small holes in the visor of the cold metal helmet. A tiny village was cramped on a patch of solid earth in the middle of the bog. “At last, it’s time for conquest!” – he thought. Few sorry souls that were digging in the muddy soil below now stood upright and gawked at the figure in surprise and awe… “I am Baron Gregor von Shrute, and I claim this land in my name! – the low and gurgling voice boomed from the hilltop. “Cavalry, disperse this rabble!” – the Baron commanded and the musty morning air was filled with a menacing screeching of hundreds of wheels… Baron Gregor von Shrute is a glorious a cavalry general for your wargames**. He is one of the chosen, one who was truly touched by the Great Root, one who transcended humanity and became something more. He is a master of a crushing cavalry charge and a devious tactician. His royal carriage is pushed by a couple of tired soldiers that are barefoot in hope that one day the Great Root will bless their sorry limbs too and their transformation would begin. The model comes pre-supported. The model consists of 6 parts - the Baron, the carriage, two pairs of wheels and two soldiers, pushing the cart. The assembly is pretty straightforward. Rule-wise the Baron himself fits on a 60mm square base but his followers do not. I recommend putting the whole model on a 60x90 mm base, that is included in the base. ** Please be very careful when removing the supports! The model has a lot of details and a lot of thin and spiky/pointy parts. Dont just rip the support plate off, take your time and work on the light parts with a thin hobby knife or a scalpel. ** If you have any troubles - message me here or on instagram(preferred method, link in my profile) and we will try to work something out.
