Small wedge-shaped stone, located north of Brown Hill on Barningham Moor, County Durham. This carving sits at the northeast end of Barningham Moor, 150 meters north of a prehistoric cairn field. It was referenced as number one in Beckensall & Laurie's 1998 publication 'Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale', where it was named 'Barningham Moor 96' by NADRAP on ERA in 2008. The team documented: "A major panel with thirteen cups towards the peak of the stone, four of which have connecting grooves leading to the ground. Visible peck marks are clearly evident. This carving is the easternmost and has the lowest altitude of all carvings on Barningham Moor."
