sketchfab
Large flat square stone, positioned between hollow ways, northwest of How Tallon ridge, on Barningham Moor, County Durham. This large tabular stone makes up a dense cluster of carvings to the west of the likely Romano-British settlement. It's referenced 52 in Beckensall & Laurie's 1998 publication 'Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale' and was added to ERA by NADRAP as 'Barningham Moor 72' in 2008. The team documented 14 cup-like depressions, two cups linked by a groove, and suggested eight cups might be natural.
